This is an excellent opportunity for a junior engineer looking to develop practical experience within a plant environment and build a career in mineral processing and process engineering.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist with the monitoring and optimisation of mineral-processing plant operations.\nAnalyse plant and process data to identify performance trends, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.\nSupport process troubleshooting and root-cause investigations.\nAssist with improving plant recovery, throughput, efficiency and product quality.\nMonitor key process parameters and recommend corrective actions where required.\nParticipate in plant trials, test work, sampling and process evaluations.\nAssist with mass and energy balances and interpretation of process data.\nSupport process design, equipment selection and engineering calculations.\nAssist with the preparation and review of process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs and technical documentation.\nWork closely with Production, Maintenance, Laboratory and Engineering teams to resolve plant-related challenges.\nParticipate in continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives.\nAssist with technical projects, plant modifications, commissioning and implementation of process improvements.\nSupport investigations into equipment and process failures.\nPrepare technical reports, presentations and recommendations.\nEnsure engineering activities are conducted in accordance with company health, safety, quality and environmental standards.\nMaintain accurate engineering and process records.\nMinimum Requirements\nBEng/BSc Chemical Engineering or equivalent recognised engineering qualification.\n0-3 years' relevant experience in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mineral Processing, Mining or a related industrial/process environment.\nGraduate engineers with relevant vacation work, internship, practical training or mineral-processing exposure are encouraged to apply.\nStrong understanding of chemical engineering fundamentals, including mass and energy balances, fluid flow, heat transfer and process control.\nAn interest in developing a career within mineral processing and plant operations.\nComputer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel and other relevant engineering applications.\nValid driver's licence would be
