Creditors Clerk

Key Responsibilities :

• Processing supplier invoices, credit notes, and payments accurately.
• Reconciling supplier statements against the general ledger.
• Investigating and resolving invoice and payment discrepancies.
• Preparing supplier payment batches and ensuring payments are made on time.
• Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Performing creditors reconciliations and following up on outstanding items.
• Ensuring invoices are properly authorised and supported by relevant documentation.
• Maintaining accurate records and assisting with month-end procedures.

Minimum Requirements :

• Previous experience in a Creditors Clerk or Accounts Payable role.
• A solid understanding of the full creditors function.
• Strong reconciliation and numerical skills.
• Good working knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• A proactive individual who can work independently and manage high volumes of transactions.
