This is a hands-on role for someone who is confident working independently, has an eye for detail, and isn’t afraid to pick up the phone and follow up on outstanding payments.This role is based in Centurion.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage and maintain accurate, up-to-date customer accounts.\nAllocate customer payments accurately and timeously.\nPerform regular debtor reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.\nTake ownership of outstanding and overdue accounts through consistent follow-up.\nContact customers regarding overdue invoices, payment commitments and payment arrangements.\nIssue statements, payment reminders and collection requests.\nHandle and resolve customer queries relating to invoices, payments and account balances.\nInvestigate and resolve invoice and payment disputes efficiently.\nPrepare, analyse and monitor Debtors Age Analysis reports.\nProvide regular reporting on collections, overdue accounts and outstanding debtor balances.\nMonitor customer credit limits, payment terms and account activity.\nAssist with credit applications and customer account reviews.\nReconcile the Debtors Control Account.\nSupport month-end accounts receivable procedures and ensure all transactions are accurately captured.\nMaintain complete and accurate debtor records and supporting documentation.\nAssist the Finance Department with audit requirements and general accounting functions where required.\nJob Experience and Skills Required:\nMinimum 5 years’ experience in Debtors / Credit Control - essential\nProven experience managing the full debtors function.\nStrong numerical, analytical and reconciliation skills.\nProven debt collection and account follow-up experience.\nProficiency in Sage / Pastel.\nGood Microsoft Excel skills.\nWorking knowledge of VAT and basic accounting principles.\nExceptional attention to detail and accuracy.\nStrong communication and customer-service skills.\nA confident communicator who can follow up firmly, professionally and consistently.\nApply now!\nFor more exciting (Finance/ Engineering/ IT / Supply Chain / Commercial & C-Suite) vacancies, please visit: https://www.networkrecruitmentinternational.com/\nIf you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
