The successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed electrical designs, preparing technical drawings, and supporting the engineering process from initial concept through to manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.This role is ideal for a technically strong individual with excellent electrical design capabilities, attention to detail, and experience producing accurate, high-quality engineering documentation using EPLAN.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and produce detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical control drawings using EPLAN.\nDesign electrical control panels, distribution boards, and control systems in accordance with project specifications.\nPrepare electrical layouts, cable schedules, terminal plans, bills of materials (BOMs), and associated engineering documentation.\nInterpret electrical specifications, functional requirements, and engineering drawings.\nEnsure all electrical designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety requirements, and applicable electrical regulations.\nCollaborate with electrical engineers, project managers, panel builders, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.\nIncorporate design changes and maintain accurate drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle.\nAssist with component selection, cable sizing, circuit protection, and the specification of electrical equipment.\nSupport manufacturing and panel-building teams by providing technical clarification and resolving design-related queries.\nConduct design reviews and quality checks to ensure drawing accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.\nProvide technical support during installation, testing, commissioning, and fault-finding activities when required.\nMaintain organised engineering documentation and ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed deadlines.\nMinimum Requirements\nA relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or a related technical discipline.\nDemonstrable proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8.\nExperience producing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and detailed electrical engineering drawings.\nGood understanding of electrical control systems, electrical components, and control panel design.\nAbility to interpret electrical standards, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.\nStrong attention to detail and a systematic approach to electrical design.\nExcellent problem-solving and technical communication skills.\nAbility to work independently while
