My client, a well-established and growing organization based in Pretoria, is seeking a hands-on Financial Manager with a strong personality and the confidence to partner with operational teams, challenge the status quo, and drive financial excellence across the business.This role is ideally suited to a qualified CA(SA) or ACMA/CGMA professional who enjoys being involved in both the strategic and operational aspects of finance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOversee the end-to-end finance function and financial management of the business.\nPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with IFRS.\nLead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash flow management processes.\nDrive month-end close procedures and deliver accurate management accounts.\nPerform detailed variance analysis and provide meaningful insights to management.\nPartner closely with operations, supply chain, procurement, and commercial teams.\nOversee product costing, inventory control, and bill of materials accuracy.\nAnalyze profitability across products, customers, regions, and channels.\nManage statutory compliance, tax submissions, audits, and governance requirements.\nMonitor working capital, cash flow, and foreign exchange exposure.\nDrive process improvement initiatives, automation projects, and reporting enhancements.\nStrengthen financial controls, risk management frameworks, and audit outcomes.\nSupport strategic decision-making through financial modelling and business analysis.\nMinimum Requirements: Qualified CA(SA) OR ACMA/CGMA qualification is non-negotiable.\nPrevious experience within a manufacturing environment is essential.\nProven experience in a Financial Manager or Senior Finance leadership role.\nStrong management accounting and costing experience.\nSolid understanding of IFRS and financial reporting.\nExperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Syspro, Sage, or similar.\nAdvanced Excel skills with strong financial modelling capability.\nExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong commercial acumen and operational finance exposure.\nHigh attention to detail with excellent communication skills.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.\nOwn reliable transport.\nThe Ideal CandidateThis role requires more than just technical excellence.
