This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a leadership role and has a passion for driving financial excellence, implementing robust controls, and developing high-performing finance teams.

Minimum Requirements

  • CA(SA) qualification is essential.
  • Proven MDA experience is essential.
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience leading the full finance function in a Finance Manager or Financial Controller capacity.
  • Property industry experience is highly advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial controls, governance, VAT and statutory compliance.
  • Advanced Excel and financial systems experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end finance function across multiple entities.
  • Drive the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines.
  • Review journals, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany transactions and consolidated financial reports.
  • Oversee treasury, cash flow management, VAT compliance, PAYE and statutory submissions.
  • Manage annual audits, annual financial statements and regulatory reporting.
  • Prepare board reporting, shareholder reporting, budgets and cash flow forecasts.
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve finance policies, procedures and internal controls.
  • Lead, mentor and develop Finance Managers, Financial Accountants and the Creditors team.
  • Identify operational risks, strengthen governance and improve finance processes across the business.
  • Partner closely with senior leadership by providing strategic financial insight and supporting business growth initiatives.
