Financial Controller

• Manage the full finance function
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Perform month-end and year-end close activities
• Conduct balance sheet, bank, supplier, and fixed asset reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Oversee debtor collections and receivables management
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure VAT, tax, and statutory compliance submissions are completed accurately and on time
• Support leadership with financial reporting and business insights
• Identify process improvement opportunities and strengthen financial controls
• Supervise and develop junior finance team members

Qualifications & Skills:

• BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Completed Articles advantageous
• 3-5 years' relevant accounting experience
• Experience managing the full finance function
• Strong month-end and year-end reporting experience
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis experience
• VAT and statutory compliance experience
• Strong debtors and collections management experience
• Sage or Pastel experience essential
• Excellent reconciliation and reporting skills
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
