professional who is comfortable operating in a consulting environment, managing engagements, engaging with senior stakeholders and leading a team of audit professionals.\nThe role offers the opportunity to move beyond traditional audit execution and play a key part in delivering risk, governance, control and advisory solutions to clients.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage internal audit engagements from planning through to completion\nDevelop risk-based audit plans and detailed audit programmes\nLead and oversee internal audit assignments across various business functions\nEvaluate internal controls, governance structures and risk management processes\nIdentify control gaps, risks and opportunities for improvement\nPrepare high-quality audit reports and present findings to senior stakeholders\nProvide internal audit consulting and advisory services to clients\nBuild and maintain strong client relationships\nManage, mentor and develop internal audit team members\nReview audit working papers and ensure quality standards are maintained\nMonitor implementation of agreed audit recommendations\nConduct risk assessments and identify emerging risks\nProvide practical and value-adding recommendations to management\nManage multiple engagements, deadlines and stakeholder expectations\nSupport business development and consulting opportunities where required\nJob Experience and Skills Required:\nQualification: CIA qualification essential\nCA(SA) or BCom Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit or related degree\nAdditional internal audit, risk or governance qualifications advantageous\nExperience:Minimum 5 years' internal audit experience\n10+ years' experience advantageous\nProven management and team leadership experience\nConsulting or advisory experience highly advantageous\nStrong exposure to risk management, governance and internal controls\nExperience managing internal audit engagements\nProven ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders\nTechnical Skills:Internal audit methodologies\nRisk-based auditing\nRisk management\nGovernance and internal controls\nAudit planning and execution\nAudit reporting\nConsulting and
