The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the design, assembly, testing, and refinement of advanced mechanical systems and products, working closely with engineers throughout the product development lifecycle. \nThe role offers exposure to cutting-edge engineering projects within a highly technical environment where creativity, problem-solving, and continuous improvement are encouraged. \nEducation:\nDiploma, Certificate, or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field. \nJob Experience & Skills Required:\nMinimum 3 years' relevant mechanical engineering experience. \nExperience working within a product development lifecycle from concept through to prototype. \nExperience using 3D printing and additive manufacturing technologies.\nKnowledge of materials science including metals, plastics, and composites.\nUnderstanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems.\nProficiency in mechanical assembly, fitting, and fabrication techniques.\nAbility to interpret technical drawings and CAD models. \nExperience with SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar CAD software advantageous.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. \nExcellent communication and organisational abilities. \nFamiliarity with basic electronics and instrumentation would be advantageous.\nAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.\nExperience within a defence or highly regulated engineering environment would be beneficial. \nDuties:\nAssist with the assembly, modification, and debugging of mechanical prototypes and test equipment. \nPerform machining and fabrication activities to produce high-quality mechanical components. \nInterpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical documentation.\nSupport the development and testing of mechanical assemblies and systems.\nConduct mechanical and environmental testing and accurately record results. \nDiagnose and resolve mechanical issues during development and testing phases.\nWork closely with engineers to enhance and refine product designs.\nMaintain workshop equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards. \nAssist with the setup of test benches, instrumentation, and experimental rigs. \nManage inventory of components, raw materials, and workshop consumables.\nContribute to the development of assembly instructions, testing procedures, and engineering documentation.\nApply now! \n\nFor more engineering jobs, please visit www.networkrecruitmentinternational.com\nIf you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
