Tech stack of Network Finance

A leading insurance business is seeking a detail-oriented professional to join their underwriting team in Bryanston.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

Please do NOT apply if you do not meet ALL of the following requirements:

Matric
NQF 5 in Short-Term Insurance
RE5 (Regulatory Examination)
Minimum of 4 years' Personal Lines Underwriting experience
DOFA confirmation
Cardinal 360 experience
Personal Lines Class of Business accreditation

NB: Candidates who do not meet the above criteria will unfortunately not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Underwrite new business, renewals, and endorsements
Prepare and review quotations
Ensure all underwriting activities comply with company standards and procedures
Manage policy amendments and client queries
Negotiate renewal terms and prepare renewal documentation
Calculate retentions and ensure profitable business retention
Review and maintain policy accuracy and exposure levels
Support sales teams in acquiring and retaining profitable business
Deliver exceptional client service and resolve escalated queries
Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies

What We're Looking For:

Strong knowledge of Personal Lines insurance
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach

If you meet all the non-negotiable requirements, particularly Cardinal 360 experience, DOFA, RE5, NQF 5 in Short-Term Insurance, and 4+ years of Personal Lines Underwriting experience, we'd love to hear from you.
