Job & Company Description:
A growing multi-country organisation is looking for a driven Global Procurement Manager to establish and directly manage its developing procurement function.Operating in a lean, growth-focused environment, you will take hands-on responsibility for strategic sourcing, supplier identification and onboarding, RFQ/RFP processes, commercial negotiations, purchasing, supplier performance, contracts, cost optimisation and procurement governance.
This is not a role for someone who only manages procurement through a large team. You will be expected to personally execute key procurement activities, build practical processes and develop a scalable supplier-management model as the organisation expands internationally. UCG_JD Procurement Manager
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce or a related discipline
- CIPS or CPSM certification would be advantageous UCG_JD Procurement Manager
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Approximately 4-7 years' experience within Procurement, Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management
- Proven experience working with international suppliers and multi-country stakeholders
- Strong strategic sourcing and supplier-identification capability
- Hands-on experience managing RFQ/RFP processes, quotation analysis and supplier evaluations
- Proven commercial negotiation experience across pricing, payment terms, lead times, service levels and delivery arrangements
- Strong purchase-order management and supplier follow-up capability
- Experience monitoring supplier quality, delivery, responsiveness, cost and compliance
- Commercially astute with proven exposure to cost savings and cost-avoidance initiatives
- Strong supplier-risk management and alternative-sourcing capability
- Experience with procurement governance, contracts and audit-ready documentation
- Strong Excel, procurement reporting and data-analysis capability
- ERP/procurement/purchasing system exposure advantageous
- Experience building or improving procurement processes within a growing, lean or relatively unstructured environment
- Strong stakeholder-management skills with the confidence to engage senior leadership and international suppliers UCG_JD Procurement Manager
Advantageous Industry Exposure:
Experience within Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Supplements, Cosmetics, Consumer Products, Retail or another regulated product environment would be highly advantageous. UCG_JD Procurement ManagerThe opportunity:
