You'll sit at the intersection of finance, technology, operations, and project delivery, ensuring that financial processes, controls, reporting structures, and data integrity are embedded into a new system landscape that supports future growth and scalability.\nIf you thrive in high-impact environments, enjoy leading cross-functional initiatives, and have experience delivering finance transformation projects, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.\nWhat You'll Be Responsible For\nFinance Transformation & System Implementation\nLead the end-to-end finance workstream throughout system design, implementation, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.\nDefine and document finance requirements across:General Ledger (GL)\nAccounts Payable (AP)\nAccounts Receivable (AR)\nProcurement\n\nEnsure the solution supports both operational requirements and reporting objectives.\nDrive the successful rollout of finance processes across multiple operating entities.\nFinancial Reporting, Group Structures & Controls\nImplement and standardise a global chart of accounts across the organisation.\nSupport multi-entity and multi-currency reporting requirements.\nOversee intercompany accounting, consolidation requirements, and foreign currency reporting considerations.\nStrengthen financial controls, approval workflows, governance structures, and audit requirements.\nEnsure financial data integrity throughout the implementation lifecycle.\nData Migration & Go-Live Readiness\nOversee financial data migration activities and validation processes.\nCoordinate testing cycles, reconciliation controls, and user acceptance testing.\nManage cutover planning and go-live readiness activities.\nEnsure smooth transition and adoption by business users.\nProject Management & Stakeholder Engagement\nDevelop and manage project plans, milestones, budgets, risks, and deliverables.\nCoordinate internal finance teams, operational stakeholders, and implementation partners.\nMonitor project performance and escalate risks where necessary.\nPrepare project status updates and executive-level reporting.\nFacilitate steering committee and leadership reporting throughout the project lifecycle.\nChange Management & Business Readiness\nDrive finance-focused change management initiatives.\nSupport training, communication, and user adoption strategies.\nEnsure business stakeholders are prepared for new processes and system changes.\nManage the successful handover into business-as-usual operations.\nRequirements\nQualifications\nDegree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.\nProfessional qualifications such as CA(SA), CIMA, SAIPA, or equivalent will be highly advantageous.\nPMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification advantageous.\nExperience\nMinimum 7 years' finance experience.\nMinimum 3 years' project management experience.\nDemonstrated experience leading finance system or ERP implementations.\nExperience within complex, multi-entity organisations.\nExposure to multinational finance environments and group reporting structures.\nIndustry experience within logistics, transport, distribution, supply chain, or similarly operational environments will be advantageous.\nTechnical Expertise\nStrong understanding of:Financial Reporting\nFinancial Controls & Governance\nData Migration\nSystems Implementation\nMulti-Currency Accounting\nIntercompany Accounting\nGroup Reporting & Consolidations\nIFRS Reporting\nForeign Currency Translation\nTreasury & Reconciliations\n\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling and analysis.\nWho We're Looking For\nThe successful candidate will be:A finance professional with strong project delivery experience\nComfortable engaging with executive stakeholders and operational teams\nHighly organised with strong governance and risk management capabilities\nAnalytical, commercially minded, and detail-oriented\nExperienced in managing multiple workstreams simultaneously\nResilient and able to perform in deadline-driven environments\nPassionate about driving change and improving finance processes\nWhy Consider This Opportunity?\nThis is a rare opportunity to play a leading role in a significant finance transformation programme.
