You will be responsible for building highly available and scalable bill payment systems, integrating with Bharat BillPay ecosystem participants, and ensuring seamless customer payment experiences.\n\nRole is responsible for defining and enhancing the architecture supporting biller onboarding, bill fetch, payment processing, reconciliation, and settlement functions within the BBPS ecosystem.\n\nJob Responsibilities:\nLead architecture, design, and development of BBPS platforms and related payment services.\nOwn technical delivery of bill payment processing systems handling large transaction volumes.\nDesign and implement integrations with BBPOUs, banks, billers, aggregator platforms, and NPCI interfaces.\nLead the team from analysis, design, development till deployment and post-production support for BBPS system.\nLead a team of software developers, analysts, and technical specialists.\nDrive implementation of scalable APIs, microservices, and middleware services.\nEnsure compliance with NPCI BBPS guidelines, operational standards, and certification requirements.\nDesign systems for biller management, bill presentment, bill fetch, payment collection, and settlement workflows.\nBuild robust reconciliation, dispute management, reporting, and transaction monitoring frameworks.\nReview solution designs and source code to ensure quality and adherence to standards.\nPerform performance optimization, scalability assessments, and system tuning.\nTroubleshoot complex technical and production issues.\nEstablish DevOps practices, automated deployments, and monitoring frameworks.\nCollaborate with product, operations, compliance, and external partners for successful delivery.\nEnsure overall reliability, security, scalability, and availability of the platform.\n\nWhat are we looking for:\nAdvanced knowledge of software architecture, enterprise application design, and payment systems.\nStrong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices, Kafka/RabbitMQ, RESTful APIs, Redis/KeyDB, and distributed architectures.\nShould understand JVM, connection pools, multi-threading execution models.\nDeep understanding of BBPS ecosystem, NPCI Bharat BillPay framework, and bill payment workflows.\nExperience in biller onboarding, bill aggregation, bill presentment, payment processing, and settlement systems.\nStrong understanding of BOU, COU, and UPMS.\nStrong knowledge of reconciliation, transaction lifecycle management, exception handling, and MIS reporting.\nExperience building high-availability transaction processing systems.\nStrong database knowledge including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL technologies.\nUnderstanding of security standards, audit controls, and regulatory compliance requirements.\nKnowledge of payment integration frameworks and API gateway solutions.\nAbility to lead technical discussions with banks, billers, fintech partners, and payment ecosystem participants.\nAnalytical thinking, strong judgment, and decision-making abilities.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nEntrepreneurial skills, ability to observe, innovate, and own your work.\nDetail-oriented and organized with strong time management skills.\nInfluencing skills and the ability to create positive working relationships with team members at all levels.\nCollaborative approach and work with perfection as a group effort to achieve organizational goals.\nEducation Qualification -
