This is a fast-paced role requiring strong knowledge of subcontractor payment processes, industry legislation, and compliance requirements.\n\nThe successful candidate will work closely with the department manager to ensure accurate and timely processing of subcontractor payments, statutory returns, and legislative reporting while providing leadership and support to the team.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the day-to-day running of the Subcontract Payment Team and deputise for the Manager when required.\nLead and oversee weekly and ad hoc subcontractor payment runs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to agreed deadlines.\nManage high-value payment runs and ensure robust financial controls are maintained.\nPrepare and submit monthly Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) returns accurately and within statutory deadlines.\nPrepare and maintain Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) returns.\nEnsure compliance with all relevant legislation and industry regulations affecting subcontractor payments.\nProduce regular reports and maintain accurate records to support financial and compliance requirements.\nMonitor and improve payment processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and accuracy.\nProvide guidance and support to team members, ensuring workload is effectively managed.\nBuild positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and subcontractors.\n\nExperience and Qualifications\n\nPrevious experience within Accounts Payable, with significant exposure to subcontractor payments.\n Strong working knowledge of:\nConstruction Industry Scheme (CIS)\nConstruction Industry Training Board (CITB) requiremen\nDomestic Reverse Charge (DRC)\nExperience processing high-volume and high-value payment runs.\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.\nStrong organisational and prioritisation skills within a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to interpret and apply relevant legislation and compliance requirements.\nExcellent communication and team leadership skills.\nSalary and Benefits\nWe offer a competitive salary based on experience along with a full benefits package.\nNetwork Plus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
