This role will see you take control of all financial aspects of the project; overseeing all commercial & contractual matters. You will deliver desired margin return utilising high standards of commercial acumen. Whilst identifying, recording and tracking, both risks and opportunities.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage the contract performance including weekly P&L reporting \nReview contract documents and mitigate any issues \nControl the progress and cash flow forecast information \nManage commercial forecasts, Cost Value Reconciliation (CVRs) and Project Finance Reports \nManage estimating and pre-contract activities, including cost planning, proposal preparation, contract updates, supplier management, financial documentation, project handovers, and identifying profitable business opportunities while minimising risk.\nTake responsibility for Subcontractor Management; including Subcontract Forecasting, raising Subcontractor Orders and Negotiating Subcontract terms \nPrepare subcontract documents, enquiries and assessment of quotations \nOversee subcontract orders, agreement and certification of subcontract valuations, invoice, subcontract payments and final account agreements \nBe responsible for the management of the change control process, risk and value management \nManage and track project changes, variations and/or notices \nAssess and value variations and compensation events \nPrepare and submit interim valuations and payment applications to clients, along with the agreement of final accounts \nAttend risk review, progress and commercial meetings on-site with the Client \nBe actively involved with tenders and pricing \nOversee Credit Control with cash recovery and forecasting \nSupport the operational team in daily commercial and contractual aspects\nExperience and Qualifications\nDegree qualification (RICS accredited or equivalent) is desirable but not essential \nNEC4 experience preferable. \nIdeally you will have experience working in the Utilities industry \nSound knowledge of contracts - NEC preferred \nAbility to prioritise workload, multi-task and work under tight time pressures \nExcellent communication skills\nSalary and Benefits\nWe offer a competitive salary based on experience along with a full benefits package.\nNetwork Plus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
