We are currently recruiting for multiple roles.\n\nYou will lead operational activities across multiple contracts, regions and sites, ensuring fencing, security, civil engineering and associated works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.\n\nA crucial part of the role is ownership of operational safety and compliance, ensuring all activities are delivered in accordance with legislative, contractual and client requirements and Littlewood Group standards.\n\nWorking closely with clients, principal contractors, project teams, commercial functions and supply chain partners, you will drive performance, productivity, customer satisfaction and profitability while maintaining a strong focus on health, safety and environmental excellence.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide leadership across all operational delivery activities within your area of responsibility.\nLead and develop Operations Managers, Project Managers, Site Managers and Supervisors.\nOwn operational safety performance, ensuring compliance with legislative and client requirements and Littlewood Group standards.\nEnsure all works are delivered in line with programme, budget and contractual obligations.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, principal contractors, stakeholders and framework partners.\nOversee subcontractor performance, ensuring safe, high-quality and cost-effective delivery.\nDrive a culture of continuous improvement, quality and operational excellence.\nEnsure adequate resource planning including labour, plant, materials and supply chain partners.\nMonitor project performance through KPI reporting and operational reviews.\nWork closely with commercial teams to maximise value recovery, control costs and achieve contract P&L targets.\nEnsure all works comply with environmental, sustainability and social value commitments.\nSupport tendering, mobilisation and growth opportunities across existing and new frameworks, contracts and sectors.\nLead incident investigations and ensure lessons learned are embedded across operations.\nPromote a right-first-time approach and ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.\nProvide regular updates and reports to senior leadership teams.\nExperience and Qualifications\nSignificant senior leadership experience within infrastructure, construction, rail, highways or utilities sectors.\nProven experience delivering large-scale projects within major frameworks or programmes, such as those for Network Rail, National Highways, HS2, utilities or other infrastructure clients.\nStrong experience managing operational delivery teams and subcontractor supply chains.\nDemonstrable track record of delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.\nStrong commercial awareness with responsibility for P&L performance.\nExcellent stakeholder management and client relationship experience.\nDetailed knowledge of CDM Regulations and construction health and safety requirements.\nSMSTS qualification.\nCSCS Black Card (desirable).\nKnowledge of fencing, security, civils or infrastructure construction activities.\nStrong planning, people management and leadership skills.\nExperience of driving continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.\nGood computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and operational reporting systems, with the ability to produce reports, analyse data and manage project documentation effectively.\nFull UK Driving Licence.\nSalary and Benefits\nWe offer a competitive salary based on experience along with a full benefits package.\nNetwork Plus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
