You will provide operational management - ensuing that the work is delivered safely on time, within budget and to our Client’s expectations.\n\nIn addition to Health and Safety, customer service is critical to our work. You will ensure that work is carried out in a manner, which builds the confidence of developers and adopts a ‘right first time’ approach. Recognising developers have paid for mains laying and new supplies to their site / property, you will work with the relevant teams to ensure programmes are managed and delivered accordingly.\n\nSatisfaction of developers is measured through a new regulatory measure called D-MeX. You will work closely with Thames Water to influence a dramatic improvement in the D-MeX measure and show management skills to genuinely care about the ratings Developers give of Network Plus’s services.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nHave operational supervisory responsibility for a designated group of Developer Services teams, and their daily activities\nOrganise labour in the most cost-effective way, including recruitment, disciplinary action, wages and absence management\nManage all other resources e.g. materials and plant\nEnsure accurate information is captured of works undertaken, including photographs and as laids\nVisit teams at local site level - reviewing progress and performance and ensuring standards are adhered to\nCarry out team briefings with teams on a monthly basis; coaching and developing operational teams to reach their potential\nComplete Team Inspections ensuring a high level of Compliance with a real focus on quality and right first-time operational delivery\nBe a Health & Safety Representative; undertaking health & safety inspections in and around the workplace, raising health and safety related matters with management and investigating reportable accidents or incidents as and when they occur\n\nSkills, Knowledge & Expertise\nRelevant qualifications in relation to the work being carried out i.e. NRWSA at supervisory level\nHealth & Safety qualification would be an advantage\nDeep Excavation knowledge and experience\nGood management skills\nExcellent communication skills\nFinancial and commercial awareness\nProficient IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word\nFull UK Driving Licence\n\nJob Benefits\n\nWe offer a competitive salary based on experience along with a full benefits package.\n\nNetwork Plus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer .
