The role supports operational delivery by liaising with internal teams, local authorities and stakeholders to ensure all works are correctly noticed, permitted and completed within agreed timescales.\n\nThe successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple workstreams within a fast-paced utility environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nStreetworks Notices & Permits\nSubmit Streetworks notices and permit applications through Confirm in line with NRSWA and local authority requirements.\nEnsure all notices are raised accurately and within statutory timescales to maintain compliance.\nProcess permit variations, extensions and closures as required throughout the lifecycle of works.\nMonitor outstanding notices and permits, ensuring actions are completed within service level agreements.\nOperational Coordination\nRecord actual work start dates received from field teams, ensuring all information is accurately submitted to maintain regulatory compliance.\nLiaise with operational teams to obtain updates on work progress, delays and completion details.\nAttend planning and scheduling meetings to ensure upcoming works are appropriately noticed and permitted.\nSupport field operations by providing guidance on permit conditions, restrictions and compliance requirements.\nHighway Authority & Stakeholder Management\nManage and respond to comments, challenges and requests received from Highway Authorities in a timely and professional manner.\nBuild and maintain effective working relationships with Highway Authorities, internal stakeholders and operational teams.\nEscalate potential compliance risks, permit issues or planning constraints to management where appropriate.\nWork collaboratively with planners, supervisors and delivery teams to minimise permit breaches and overrun charges.\n Traffic Management & Compliance\nPrepare and submit Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders (TTROs) within agreed SLA timescales.\nMonitor and track TTRO applications through to approval.\nEnsure all activities comply with NRSWA legislation, permit scheme regulations and client requirements.\nMaintain accurate records and audit trails within company systems.\nPerformance & Continuous Improvement\nSupport the achievement of business KPIs relating to permit compliance and operational performance.\nIdentify opportunities to improve processes and enhance service delivery.\nProduce reports and management information as required.\nContribute to a culture of compliance, accountability and operational excellence.\nExperience and Qualifications\nEssential\nPrevious experience in a Streetworks, Permit or Coordination role.\nWorking knowledge of NRSWA legislation and permit schemes.\nExperience using Confirm or similar Streetworks management systems.\nStrong administrative and organisational skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.\nAbility to prioritise workload and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.\nCompetent in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.\n Desirable\nExperience within utilities, telecoms, highways or infrastructure sectors.\nKnowledge of TTRO application processes.\nUnderstanding of Street Manager.\nNRSWA qualification.\nSalary and Benefits\nWe offer a competitive salary based on experience along with a full benefits package.\nNetwork Plus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
