It is also essential that you can become part of a close team that is motivated and driven towards achieving growth and continued profitability within a competitive and exciting industry.\n\nTasks will include interpreting detailed plans and drawings to establish varied and often complex scopes of work. You will develop the ability to schedule and cost the construction materials required and you will gain an understanding of the labour resource needed to complete the project, all with a view to preparing detailed and accurate tender proposals for the client.\nKey Responsibilities\nSurveying & Estimating\nSurvey potential work sites; establish ground and site conditions, confirm scope of work and specific design/ specification requirements.\nProduce detailed survey reports for pricing and future co-ordination of works\nMaintain accurate records for ‘follow-up’ calls and future reconciliation \nDevelop understanding of construction methods and health and safety legislation in order to aid in the generation of accurate cost proposals\nIdentify the best solution in order to achieve client’s requirements. This will require an in depth understanding of the security fencing market and the systems available \nGenerate accurate price build ups to cover the plant, labour and materials required to successfully complete the given project \nProgress price sheets into clear and concise tender proposals for presentation to the client\nHelp prepare detailed Schedule of works/ Bill of Quantities for submission to the client\nAssist with the preparation of detailed Pre-qualification questionnaire responses\n Business development\nAt all times promote and develop relationships with clients and suppliers\nGenerate leads and follow up quotations uncover future opportunities and to gain understanding of the market level\nMonthly reporting of leads and outstanding enquiries\nAttend meetings throughout the UK with both new and existing customers\nExperience and Qualifications\nNo prior experience necessary, however this would be beneficial\nPossess strong communication skills, written and verbal\nPossess good IT skills (MS Excel important)\nMaintain an efficient filing system commensurate with contract\nAbility to work under pressure\nOrganised, with good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines\nCan adapt to different tasks quickly, efficiently and confidently\nTeam orientated, however capable of working autonomously in a busy office environment\nDriven and motivated to succeed in what is a competitive environment\nThere will be excellent opportunities for career development and significant training will be provided. \nSalary and Benefits\nWe offer a competitive salary based on experience along with a full benefits package.\nNetwork Plus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
