# Trainee Estimator

The role of Trainee Estimator is to support the wider estimating team whilst also developing the skills and attributes to become a successful estimator within the Security Division. It is also essential that you can become part of a close team that is motivated and driven towards achieving growth and continued profitability within a competitive and exciting industry. Tasks will include interpreting detailed plans and drawings to establish varied and often complex scopes of work. You will develop the ability to schedule and cost the construction materials required and you will gain an understanding of the labour resource needed to complete the project, all with a view to preparing detailed and accurate tender proposals for the client. Key Responsibilities Surveying & Estimating Survey potential work sites; establish ground and site conditions, confirm scope of work and specific design/ specification requirements. Produce detailed survey reports for pricing and future co-ordination of works Maintain accurate records for ‘follow-up’ calls and future reconciliation Develop understanding of construction methods and health and safety legislation in order to aid in the generation of acc
