This role requires flexibility due to the nature of the business. GTM will provide the relevant training to upskill as you move along the business within the various modules.\nThis type of role will suit someone who is used to or enjoys working outside in a physical role. The role will give you the opportunity to start in a trainee role and work up through the business. The initial training will give you the skills to become a qualified Traffic Management Operative. There is then the opportunity to continue into Operational management roles within the business.\nGood rates of pay and overtime also available\nKey Responsibilities\nWe are looking for someone to:\nGain experience in all methods of traffic management; Give and take, Priority, Stop/Go boards, Portable traffic signals, Convoy working, Road closures, Lane closures and diversions\nUnderstand safe working methods and best practice procedures\nLearn how to carry out risk assessments and method statements on works involving traffic management\nEnsure that all activities associated with the job are carried out according to laid down procedures where possible. Identify areas that can be improved and report to your line manager\nAssist with daily vehicle checks - to ensure cleanliness and tidiness of vehicle and the safety of the driver and passenger\nPromote a positive company image whilst at work (via wearing of company clothing, attitude, and site cleanliness)\nBe happy to assist the public, directing them through safe site lines when required\nExperience and Qualifications\n Training given in the following\nLantra 12d accreditation TTMBC, 12d (M1, M2)\nLantra 12 a/b accreditation\nChapter 8 and the Safety at Street Works and Road Works\nAbility to read and understand CAD drawings\nMechanical ability in relation to Traffic Lights\nYou must have a valid UK Driving License\nSalary and Benefits\nWe offer a competitive salary based on experience along with a full benefits package.\nNetwork Plus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
