equipment reliability, operational efficiency and minimal production downtime.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nAn established engineering operation is seeking an experienced Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer with a strong maintenance background to join its technical team.\nThe successful candidate will have more than 10 years of relevant industry experience, with proven expertise in process instrumentation, control systems and electrical maintenance within a manufacturing, mining, power generation or heavy industrial environment.\n\nThis role will focus on maintaining, troubleshooting and improving industrial control and instrumentation systems to ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency and minimal production downtime.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOversee and support the maintenance of electrical, control and instrumentation systems across industrial operations.\n\nMaintain, troubleshoot and optimise PLC-based control systems, particularly Siemens PLC platforms.\n\nProvide technical support for SCADA and DCS systems.\n\nDiagnose and resolve instrumentation, automation and control system faults.\n\nPerform and oversee calibration, testing and maintenance of process instruments, including pressure, flow, level and temperature transmitters.\n\nEnsure the reliability and availability of plant instrumentation and control equipment.\n\nDevelop and implement preventative and corrective maintenance strategies.\n\nInvestigate recurring equipment failures and conduct root cause analysis.\n\nMonitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and plant availability.\n\nWork closely with operations, production, engineering and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues.\n\nEnsure maintenance activities comply with relevant safety standards, engineering procedures and regulatory requirements.\n\nMaintain accurate technical documentation, maintenance records and instrumentation registers.\n\nSupport upgrades, modifications and continuous improvement projects involving control and instrumentation systems.\n\nMinimum Requirements\n\nB.Tech or B.Eng in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Instrumentation and Control Engineering.\n\nMore than 10 years of relevant EC&I engineering experience.\n\nExperience in process instrumentation and control engineering within manufacturing, mining, power generation or heavy industry.\n\nStrong knowledge and practical experience with Siemens PLC systems.\n\nExposure to SCADA and DCS systems.\n\nExperience with industrial communication protocols, including:\n\nProfibus\n\nModbus\n\nEthernet/IP\n\nOPC\n\nPractical calibration, testing and maintenance experience on process instruments, including pressure, flow, level and temperature instrumentation.\n\nStrong troubleshooting and fault-finding capabilities.\n\nAdvantageous Experience\n\nExperience with industrial automation upgrades and control system modifications.\n\nExposure to plant shutdowns, commissioning and maintenance planning.\n\nExperience with preventative maintenance systems and reliability improvement initiatives.\n\nKnowledge of industrial safety standards and maintenance best practices.\n\nKey Competencies\n\nStrong technical and analytical problem-solving skills.\n\nExcellent fault-finding and troubleshooting ability.\n\nPractical, hands-on maintenance approach.\n\nAbility to work under pressure in an operational industrial environment.\n\nStrong communication and
