Our client in the hospitality and gaming industry is looking for an experienced General Manager to take the reins of its operation in eMalahleni, Mpumalanga.This is a role for a true business all-rounder who can move seamlessly between finance, operations, HR, technology and people management. You'll be responsible for keeping the operation running efficiently, driving profitability, strengthening processes and building a team that delivers consistently. You'll need commercial sharpness, strong people skills and the confidence to make decisions, challenge the status quo and keep the business moving forward.\n\n POSITION INFO:\n\n Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations, productivity and profitability Implement company policies, procedures and operational standards Develop and manage business plans, budgets and financial performance Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and company requirements Lead, motivate and develop teams across multiple functions Drive customer satisfaction and service excellence Oversee operational processes, CRM platforms and business systems Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and overall business performance Foster a positive working environment that attracts and retains talent Maintain high standards of administration, organisation and service delivery Job Experience and Skills: Qualification open, relevant experience and capability are key 10+ years' experience in a similar General Management or senior operational leadership role Broad exposure to finance, operations, HR, IT and team management Experience working with CRM platforms and operational systems Strong commercial awareness and financial management capabilities Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage diverse teams Analytical, solutions-driven and comfortable making tough decisions People-orientated, with the confidence to be assertive when needed Strong planning, organisational and administrative skills Hands-on leadership style with a focus on accountability and results Ability to balance operational performance, customer experience and compliance If you're looking for responsibility, exposure and growth in a business that moves fast and expects results, this role will stretch you; and reward you.
