This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to high-voltage substations, transmission infrastructure, and renewable energy projects while working alongside experienced engineers on critical power projects.\n\nThe Junior Electrical Engineer will assist in the design, planning, and execution of high-voltage (HV) substation and transmission projects. Working under the guidance of Senior Engineers, you will support technical documentation, site inspections, and contractor coordination to ensure project delivery meets engineering standards and safety regulations.\n\n POSITION INFO:\n\nQualifications \n B.Eng, B.Sc, or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current)\nRegistered or working towards registration as a Candidate Engineer/Technologist with ECS\n\nJob Experience & Skills :1-3 years' experience in Electrical Engineering\nAssist with the design and review of single-line diagrams, substation layouts, schematic drawings, and earthing designs\nMaintain engineering registers, drawings, and technical documentation\nPerform basic electrical calculations including cable sizing, load schedules, and equipment ratings\nConduct site inspections and monitor construction progress against approved drawings\nSupport commissioning, testing, and fault-finding activities\nAssist in enforcing health, safety, and quality standards on project sites\nLiaise with suppliers to obtain technical specifications and quotations\nAssist with technical documentation for tenders and procurement packages\nWillingness to travel to project sites as requirement\nTechnical SkillsHV & MV Substations\nTransformers\nSwitchgear\nProtection Relays\nBusbar Systems\nAutoCAD\nElectrical Design Documentation\nDigSILENT (Advantageous)\nETAP (Advantageous)\nTechnical Reporting & Documentation\n\nIf you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
