This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, develop technical process solutions, prepare winning proposals, and support projects through to commissioning and start-up.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nMinimum Requirements\n\nBEng in Chemical Engineering.\n\nMinimum 5 years' experience in:\n\nProcess Design\n\nProposals Engineering\n\nTechnical Sales\n\nMining or Mineral Processing environments.\n\nStrong understanding of:\n\nProcess Engineering principles\n\nMineral processing operations\n\nProcess flow diagrams (PFDs)\n\nPiping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.\n\nValid driver's liscence and own vehicle.\n\nWillingness to travel to mining operations and project sites.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nEvaluate client enquiries and assess technical feasibility.\n\nPrepare detailed commercial tenders and technical proposals in response to client requirements.\n\nDevelop process flow diagrams and instrumentation documentation from laboratory through to plant-scale applications.\n\nPerform process calculations and equipment sizing for mineral processing applications.\n\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.\n\nProvide technical clarification, manage design revisions, and support negotiations during the tender process.\n\nFacilitate project handovers to project execution and engineering teams.\n\nParticipate in commissioning activities, plant start-ups, and process troubleshooting.\n\nKey Competencies\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\n\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple tenders and projects simultaneously within demanding timelines.\n\nCommercial awareness with the ability to translate technical solutions into business opportunities.\n\nWhy Consider This Opportunity?\n\nThis role offers a unique blend of engineering, business development, and project involvement within the mining and mineral processing industry.
