This role involves monitoring and supporting our IT infrastructure, spanning on-premises data centres and Cloud Infrastructure. If you're ready to take on new challenges and contribute to a fast-moving industry, we'd love to hear from you!\n\nWhat You'll Do & How You'll Make Your Mark.\n\n System Monitoring and Support: \nContinuously monitor on-premises and cloud infrastructure using tools like Grafana, Zabbix and any Cloud monitoring tools. \nProactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues to ensure maximum uptime. \n Incident and Change Management: \nManage incidents, service requests, and changes via ServiceNow ITSM tools. \nCollaborate with teams to resolve complex technical challenges within SLAs.\n Automation and Scripting: \nDevelop and maintain scripts in Bash, Python, PERL, Ruby, or similar languages to automate routine tasks. \nEnhance operational processes to improve system performance and team efficiency. \n Documentation and Reporting: \nMaintain accurate documentation of system processes, configurations, and incident resolutions. \nShare knowledge with team members to foster collaboration and faster problem resolution.\n\nWho You Are & What You'll Need To Succeed.\n\nProven experience in system administration across on-premises and cloud environments.\nLinux/Unix fundamentals, File Systems troubleshooting, good understanding of the various tools / services that are available by default with the Operating system.\nGood understanding of Linux Systems implies understanding these and more Any Shell/Bash, sed/awk/grep/egrep, VI/VIM/Emacs, netstat, lsof, strace, ps/top/atop/dstat, grub boot config & systems rescue, fstab/disk labels, ext3/ext4, IPtables, sysstat (sar/vmstat/iostat etc), run levels & startup scripts, sudo/chroot/chkrootkit/rkhunter.\nKnowledge of concepts like DNS, HTTP, TCP/UDP.\nUnderstanding of RAID/DAS/SAN/NAS storage solutions.\nExposure to database servers such as MySQL\nIntermediate level skills managing web servers running Apache, Nginx, BIND, Exim, Dovecot etc.\nFamiliar with Firewall tools like iptables, CSF, LFD\nExperience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Zabbix, and Cloud Monitoring.\nFamiliarity with OCI security features, including IAM Policies, KMS, and Vault Services.\nExperience with ServiceNow ITSM or equivalent tools.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nWillingness to work shifts and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment\n\nGood To Have Skills\n\nCertifications: (preferred not mandatory)\nCloud Infrastructure Certified Associate/Professional.
