These part-time contractor roles are designed for experienced Fora advisors who are deeply embedded in their local advisors excited to help others navigate the Fora platform and build community.\nAmbassadors serve as trusted leaders in their region - sharing expertise, answering questions, and helping others feel confident in their day-to-day work. Ambassadors sit at the intersection of community management, advisor support, and brand representation. A key part of the role is participating in Forum and Whatsapp spaces, where responses are visible to the broader advisor community. This means your contributions should not only answer questions, but also reinforce a helpful, welcoming, and solutions-oriented environment. This role is ideal for an engaged, well-connected Fora advisor who communicates clearly, shows good judgment, and approaches interactions professionalism.\nKey Responsibilities\nCommunity Engagement & Forum Management\nRespond to advisor questions in Forum and International Whatsapp groups with accurate, helpful, and timely guidance - adapting tone and depth to the advisor's experience level (Uncertified, Certified, Pro, Fora X)\nOrganize Forum content through re-threading and reformatting posts for clarity and discoverability\nReview the Forum backlog; flag, edit, or remove outdated, inaccurate, or misplaced content\nMonitor for misinformation and ensure Fora's Community Guidelines are upheld at all times through different channels including Forum, Whatsapp and community events \nSign up for bi-weekly Forum management shifts via the Ambassador Shift Sign-Up sheet\nHost occasional kick-off calls to greet new advisors\nHost occasional live-support sessions to respond advisor inquiries and questions \nRegional Liaison & Advocacy\nAct as a trusted point of contact between international advisors and Fora HQ\nSurface regional community sentiment, questions, and needs to the HQ team via Slack\nIdentify subject matter experts within your region and foster peer collaboration\nRepresent Fora in relevant online communities (Facebook groups, WhatsApp, Reddit, local forums) - introducing yourself to moderators and sharing only accurate, up-to-date information\nRepresent Fora at in-person industry events where relevant, in alignment with Fora's Community Guidelines\nFlag advisor behavior concerns with appropriate context to the HQ team\nInternal Collaboration\nAttend or review notes from weekly HQ Ambassador meetings (minimum 2x/month)\nCoordinate via the #fora-ambassadors Slack channel for questions, escalations, and knowledge-sharing\nRequirements\nActive Fora advisor - Advanced status or above\nStrong written communication in English - clear, warm, professional, and action-oriented\nDeep familiarity with Fora's platform, community culture, and advisor experience\nAbility to commit ~10 hours per month consistently, including bi-weekly shift sign-ups\nComfortable operating independently with minimal oversight\nReliable access to Slack, Whatsapp Forum, and email\nAligned with Fora's tone of voice: understanding, empowering, grounded, and personable\nStrongly Preferred\nBased in or deeply connected to a key international market - APAC, Europe, UK or other global regions\nMultilingual - additional languages beyond English are a significant advantage\nExperience moderating online communities or managing group communications\nExisting network within the regional travel advisor community\nPro or Fora X advisor status\nCompensation\nThis is a paid hourly contractor role at $50 USD per hour. Ambassadors invoice Fora on a once- or twice-monthly basis for hours logged on the Ambassador Shift Sign-Up sheet.\nInvoices must be submitted within 15 days of the billing date\nLate invoices (30+ days past due) will not be accepted\nPayment is issued within 14 days of a valid invoice submission\nOur Values\nWe’re forging our own path\nFora has always been about driving change within the industry.
