The ideal candidate will have transaction management experience and the agility and poise to work in a high-volume, dynamic environment and “ride herd” over a team of counsel (both internal and external) and businesspeople in order to ensure transactions, entity formation, AML requests, account openings and a variety of other functions are properly and timely executed.\nResponsibilities:\nCoordinate investment procedure and documentation across private equity investments including primaries, secondaries, and co-investments\n\nPreparation and coordination of documentation for various private equity investment transactions\n\nOrganize, oversee and coordinate the closing of transactions\n\nOrganize and maintain transaction closing sets\n\nCoordinate execution of documents\n\nPrepare organizational structure charts\n\nAssist in preparing documents for, and answering, AML requests from, third party fund sponsors, banks, clients etc.\n\nPrepare and review documentation, like formation documents, for various private equity funds\n\nPerform other paralegal functions\n\nInteract with clients and various groups within Neuberger\n\nPerform ad hoc projects as needed\n\nRequirements:\nCollege degree or equivalent experience\n\nAt least 2 years of work experience as a paralegal in a corporate legal group\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)\n\nAbility to perform in fast paced environment\n\nExcellent organizational skills; detail oriented\n\nStrong time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently\n\nResourceful and able to handle multiple and changing priorities\n\nAbility to communicate effectively with senior management\n\nMust be teamwork oriented and also be able to work independently with minimal guidance\n\nLocation: New York City; hybrid with a minimum of three days per week in office.\n\nApplicants must be authorized and have the right to work in the country where the role is located without the need for current or future sponsorship.Compensation Details\nThe salary range for this role is $80,000-$110,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package.
