You will be expected to handle both frontend and backend development.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nDevelop new features handling both the front end and back end development work.\nCollaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define technical requirements and deliverables.\nConduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, quality, and security guidelines.\nCollaborate on architectural decisions to align with long-term business goals.\nStay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in a computer related field \n7+ years’ experience in Software Development\n4+ years; experience in Cloud Development, both front and back\nFluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: \nStrong Node.js/JavaScript - everything is Node (20/24). Notably must be comfortable with both module systems.\nAWS serverless architecture - Lambda, SQS, S3, Secrets Manager, DynamoDB API Gateway. Both APIs are built on Serverless Framework v4 with serverless-offline for local dev.\nPostgreSQL with Knex + Objection.js - both products use this exact ORM stack. Comfort writing and rolling back migrations is a real day-to-day skill here.\nReact + Next.js 14 -Solid React with Next.js fundamentals with form-heavy, table-heavy CRUD UI experience.\nComfort working within an internal design system - including debugging CSS specificity/source-order issues rather than reaching for a rewrite.\nSOAP and XML processing - Both products interface with existing internal and third-party systems using SOAP interfaces with XML.\nDocument and image handling - TIFF/PNG processing, PDF generation.\nExpress -both inside Lambda (via serverless-express) and on EC2 (the SOAP/PRIA service).\nJest for unit and integration; Cypress for the UI.\nExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.\nExperience using AI coding tools\nWork Environment:\nSetting with a moderate noise level.\nThe employee will work at an individual workstation, using a telephone and computer.\n\nPhysical Demands:\nMust be able to remain seated for extended periods.\nFrequent communication via telephone.\nNeumo Summary:\nWith the backing of four decades of public sector expertise and corporate capability, Neumo has successfully supported government services.
