This role is database-driven, requiring solid experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures and views, and SSIS to produce reliable outputs consumed by government clients and internal stakeholders.\nThe ideal candidate has working experience with VB.NET and ASP.NET Web Forms and brings attention to data accuracy and a willingness to learn within complex legacy environments.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain reports and data export utilities using SQL Server, T-SQL, and stored procedures and views\nBuild and maintain SSIS packages for data transformation, extraction, and scheduled export workflows\nDevelop and support backend application logic using VB.NET and ASP.NET Web Forms\nWrite and tune SQL queries and stored procedures and views with attention to performance, accuracy, and maintainability\nCollaborate with product, QA, and technical operations teams to define report requirements and validate output accuracy\nTroubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies and production issues across the database and application layers\nMaintain and improve existing reporting infrastructure while supporting production stability\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices\nSupport CI/CD pipeline integration for reporting deployments\nLeverage SQL Jobs and SQL CLR where appropriate to support automated and scheduled processing\nEducation and Experience:\n3-5 years of professional software development experience, with meaningful exposure to reporting or data export work\nWorking experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures and views, and query writing\nExperience building or maintaining SSIS packages for ETL or data export workflows is a plus.\nExperience developing applications in VB.NET and ASP.NET Web Forms\nExperience working in production environments where data accuracy and reliability matter\nExposure to SQL Jobs for scheduled processing within SQL Server is a plus.\nFamiliarity with SQL CLR is a plus\nComfortable participating in code reviews and following team development standards\nFamiliarity with modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Microsoft Copilot)\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nTechnology Stack:SQL Server\nT-SQL\nStored Procedures and Views\nSSIS\nVB.NET\nASP.NET Web Forms\nSQL Jobs\nSQL CLR \n\nAbility to write accurate, readable SQL queries across transactional datasets\nAttention to data accuracy and output validation in client-facing reporting\nWillingness to work within legacy systems and make safe, incremental improvements\nEffective collaboration skills across engineering, QA, and product teams\nAbility to take ownership of assigned work and follow through to completion\nBasic understanding of system quality attributes including reliability, maintainability, and security\nWork Environment:\nOffice setting with a moderate noise level.\nThe employee will work at an individual workstation, using a telephone and computer.\nPhysical Demands:\nMust be able to remain seated for extended periods.\nRegular use of a computer and other office machinery, such as printers and copy machines.\nOccasional movement around the office.\nFrequent communication via telephone.\nNeumo Summary:\nWith the backing of four decades of public sector expertise and corporate capability, Neumo has successfully supported government services.
