As a Neuroengineer Intern on this team, you will contribute across a wide range of projects, from designing novel experimental preparations, to interpreting neural signals and behavioral data, to developing novel BCI paradigms. Successful candidates will be highly adaptable, able to deploy their core technical and creative skills to tackle a wide range of problems, and have a keen sense of urgency. \nJob Description and Responsibilities:\nInvestigate and map neural correlates of sensory and internally-generated states.\nBuild and iterate on advanced machine learning architectures to map neural activity to complex, multi-dimensional outputs.\nDesign, execute, interpret, and communicate the results of experiments, ranging from non-human primate (NHP) electrophysiology to human fMRI studies.\nPresent results in a fast-paced, highly collaborative setting.\nRequired Qualifications: \nEvidence of exceptional ability in neuroscience, machine learning, biomedical engineering, or a related field\n2+ years of academic or industry experience\nA strong understanding of the scientific method and engineering first principles\nFluency with Python for data analysis\nPreferred Qualifications: \nExperience with modern machine learning, including LLMs, LLM interpretability, and generative models.\nExpertise in analyzing neural population dynamics and applying manifold analysis techniques to high-dimensional neural data.\nStrong background in neural decoding, particularly in the domains of movement or speech.\nExperience with human fMRI experimental design, execution, and fMRI data analysis.\nExperience with in-vivo electrophysiology, particularly awake-behaving recordings in non-human primates (NHP), and/or closed-loop brain-computer interfaces.\nPay Transparency:\nBased on California law, the following details are for California individuals only.\nCalifornia Hourly Rate: \n$35/Hr USD\nWhat We Offer:\nFull-time employees are eligible for the following benefits listed below.\nAn opportunity to change the world and work with some of the smartest and most talented experts from different fields\nGrowth potential;
