The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL, Python, and Power BI/Tableau, along with the ability to work with complex datasets and translate business requirements into meaningful insights. This role requires strong analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to independently own analytical initiatives from requirement gathering through analysis, visualization, and presentation of recommendations.\nKey Responsibilities\nAnalyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, business opportunities, and actionable insights.\n\nOwn analytical projects end-to-end, including requirement gathering, data source integration, data extraction and orchestration, data transformation and preparation, analysis, dashboard development, visualization, and stakeholder presentation.\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable dashboards and reports using Power BI and/or Tableau.\n\nWrite advanced and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, analysis, and automation of recurring data workflows and reporting processes.\n\nUse Python for data analysis, automation, data manipulation, and advanced analytical tasks.\n\nPerform data cleaning, transformation, validation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.\n\nBuild and maintain data models to support reporting and business analytics requirements.\n\nWork closely with business teams, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.\n\nPresent complex data insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.\n\nIdentify opportunities to automate recurring reports and manual analytical processes.\n\nPerform ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions and solve complex business problems.\n\nDefine and establish meaningful KPIs and business metrics aligned with organizational goals, including metric definitions, calculation methodologies, and measurement frameworks, and track performance to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.\n\nMentor junior analysts and contribute to analytics best practices across the team\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related field.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with:\nSQL - advanced querying, joins, aggregations, and query optimization.\n\nPython - data analysis and manipulation using libraries.\n\nPower BI and/or Tableau - dashboard development, reporting, data visualization, and data quality checks.\n\nDefine and implement data quality checks, validation rules, reconciliation processes, and monitoring to ensure the reliability and accuracy of analytical datasets.\n\nStrong understanding of data modeling, data cleaning, transformation, and data validation techniques.\n\nExperience working with large, complex, structured, and unstructured datasets.\n\nGood understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization best practices.\n\nExperience defining and tracking business metrics and KPIs.\n\nAbility to independently analyze business problems and recommend data-driven solutions.\n\nStrong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.\nSoft Skills\nStrong client engagement and stakeholder management skills.\n\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to present data and insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.\n\nStrong attention to detail, ownership, and time-management skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications - Good to Have\nStrong understanding of data quality, validation, reconciliation, monitoring, and exception management to ensure accuracy and reliability of analytical datasets.\n\nHands-on experience with ETL/ELT and data integration tools such as Talend, including data extraction, transformation, orchestration, and pipeline automation.\n\nUnderstanding of Master Data Management (MDM), data governance, data lineage, metadata management, and data management best practices.\n\nExperience with data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and integration of data from multiple sources into analytics-ready datasets.\n\nStrong knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, including trend analysis, forecasting, segmentation, predictive analytics, and defining meaningful business metrics and KPIs.\n\nFamiliarity with prompt engineering, AI-assisted analytics, or natural-language-to-SQL use cases is a plus.\n\nLocation: Bangalore (flexible hybrid working)\nWhat We Do and Value:\nAt Neuron7.ai, we prioritize integrity, innovation, and a customer-centric approach.
