As Medical Director, you will have significant influence over clinical strategy, quality initiatives, provider development, and the continued expansion of innovative treatments including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).This role offers the rare combination of:\nExecutive-level clinical leadership\nExceptional earning potential\nAdministrative and operational support\nAccess to advanced interventional psychiatry care\nOpportunity to mentor and develop psychiatric providers\nA collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on outcomes and patient experience\nYou will partner closely with executive leadership to shape the future of psychiatric care delivery across Southern California while helping expand access to life-changing treatment for individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and related conditions.\nWhat You’ll Do\nClinical Leadership:\nProvide physician leadership and clinical oversight for psychiatric services across two outpatient clinics.\nEstablish and maintain a culture of clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and evidence-based treatment.\nGuide treatment planning and support complex case consultation.\nCollaborate with executive leadership to advance clinical strategy and quality outcomes.\nSupport recruitment, mentorship, and retention of high-performing clinical staff.\nPhysician Practice\nMaintain an active outpatient practice managing a panel of psychiatric patients.\nDeliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management.\nParticipate in multidisciplinary care planning with therapists and clinical teams.\nPromote measurement-based care and treatment outcomes.\nPMHNP Leadership& Supervision:\nServe as collaborating and supervising physician for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners.\nProvide mentorship, case consultation, chart review, and clinical education.\nLead regular clinical meetings, case conferences, and provider development initiatives.\nEnsure consistency of care and adherence to best practices across provider teams.\nInterventionalPsychiatry:\nProvide medical oversight for the TMS program.\nEnsure appropriate patient selection, treatment planning, and clinical outcomes.\nDrive adoption of emerging evidence-based psychiatric treatments.\nContribute to the ongoing growth of innovative mental health services.\nQuality & Compliance\nMaintain high standards of clinical quality and regulatory compliance.\nParticipate in peer review and quality improvement initiatives.\nDevelop and refine clinical protocols and best practices.\nSupport clinical risk management and patient safety programs.\nCommunityEngagement & Thought Leadership:\nRepresent Neuro Wellness Spa within the psychiatric and healthcare community.\nParticipate in professional networking, speaking engagements, educational events, and referral development activities.\nSupport strategic growth initiatives and community awareness efforts.\nContribute clinical expertise to media opportunities, educational content, and public mental health advocacy initiatives.\nWhoYou Are\nYou are a highly skilled psychiatrist who values clinical excellence, innovation, and leadership. You thrive in collaborative environments and are excited by the opportunity to help shape the future of a growing behavioral healthcare organization.\nRequiredSkills/Abilities:\nMD or DO from an accredited institution.\nBoard Certified in Psychiatry.\nActive California medical license in good standing.\nCurrent DEA registration.\nMinimum 5 years of post-residency clinical psychiatric experience.\nExperience supervising or collaborating with advanced practice providers.\nExpertise in psychopharmacology and outpatient psychiatric treatment.\nPreferred\nPrior Medical Director, Associate Medical Director, or physician leadership experience.\nExperience with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).\nExperience building or scaling outpatient psychiatry programs.\nInterest in interventional psychiatry and emerging treatment modalities.\nTrack record of provider mentorship and clinical team development.\nWhat We Offer\nExceptional CompensationCompetitive annual salary $400,000 to $450,000 plus bonus.
