You will help drive responsible data usage and ensure alignment with national standards, public sector regulations, and organisational objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Data Policy & Standards Development\nDevelop, review, and refine data governance policies, standards, frameworks, and guidelines.\nTranslate Whole-of-Government (WOG) data policies into practical processes for internal adoption.\nSupport policy areas including data access governance, data sharing, consent management, and third-party data management.\n2. Governance Advisory & Compliance\nProvide advisory to internal teams on data protection legislation (e.g., PDPA) and public sector data governance requirements.\nAssess data governance implications for new programmes, digital initiatives, and data-sharing arrangements.\nReview agreements, contracts, and MOUs to ensure alignment with confidentiality and data protection obligations.\n3. Stakeholder Engagement\nPartner with internal departments, government agencies, and external partners on data governance and policy matters.\nServe as the primary liaison for data policy queries, submissions, and consultations involving WOG stakeholders.\nFacilitate discussions and align expectations with stakeholders across multiple functional areas.\n4. Capability Building & Awareness\nDevelop training materials and conduct engagement sessions to enhance data governance awareness across the organisation.\nPromote best practices in data management and support adoption of enterprise-wide data governance frameworks.\n5. Operational Governance Support\nManage, track, and report on data access, data-sharing requests, and related governance workflows.\nSupport continuous improvement of data governance processes and compliance mechanisms.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering, Business Analytics, Law, or a related field.\nExperience\nMinimum 7 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Data governance, dat protection, or data managementFormulation of data policies, standards, or frameworksInformation lifecycle management or records managementConducting risk assessments or business auditsReviewing data protection and confidentiality clauses in agreements \nKey Skills\nStrong analytical and critical-thinking abilities;
