You’ll shape architecture decisions, raise the quality bar, and mentor the developers around you.\n\nWhat you’ll do\n\n Design, build, and maintain backend services in Java with Spring Boot\n\n Own technical design for new features: modeling, architecture, technical specifications\n\n Analyze business requirements with stakeholders and turn them into well-scoped work\n\n Design REST APIs and document them with OpenAPI/Swagger\n\n Plan database changes, including migrations and rollback strategies, on Oracle and PostgreSQL\n\n Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and security\n\n Integrate with existing banking systems and keep them compliant with industry standards\n\n Review code, mentor mid-level and junior developers, and drive good engineering practices\n\n Evaluate new technologies before they reach production\n\nWhat we’re looking for\n\n 3+ years of professional software development, with strong Java (Kotlin is a big plus)\n\n Solid experience with Spring / Spring Boot in production\n\n Strong command of OOP and functional programming concepts\n\n Experience designing and building REST APIs\n\n Deep knowledge of relational databases: schema design, SQL, query optimization, indexing\n\n Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed systems\n\n Front-end experience with Angular and TypeScript\n\n Comfort with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and working in a DevOps model\n\n Track record of delivering enterprise-grade software\n\n Fluent English and clear communication across teams and with clients\n\nNice to have\n\n Experience with Hibernate / JPA, including entity mapping and ORM performance tuning\n\n Experience in banking, fintech, or another regulated industry\n\n Caching strategies and performance tuning at scale\n\n Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related
