Certified Phlebotomy Technician I (CPT I) issued by the State of California, Department of Public Health Services, Laboratory Field Services Branch.\n3. Two years as a Certified Phlebotomist Technician (CPT I) is desired.\nLaboratory Assistant II must meet the following additional requirements:\n1. Must maintain a current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation certification, in compliance with corporate CPR Policy.\n2. Should possess the ability to effectively attend to patients of various age groups, including infants, adults, and individuals with disabilities.\n3. Fluency in English (speaks, read and write).\n4. Fluency in Spanish (speaks, translate, read and write).\n5. Ability to solve problems and make routine recommendations.\n6. Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality about health care and other patient/client information.\n7. Demonstrate skills in the performance of specimen receiving, centrifuging, labeling, logging, sorting and racking.\n8. Must maintain a professional demeanor at all times.\n9. Displays proficiency with the electronic health record database within three months of attending training session(s).\n10.
