The company has operations in California and Texas, and is backed by globally-renowned investors including Lowercarbon Capital.\nAbout The Role:\nNevoya is seeking a skilled Dispatcher to coordinate loads, manage schedules, and support operational efficiency across our electric trucking fleet. In this role you will be managing real-time freight operations while resolving the majority of issues independently and escalating only when necessary. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment, communicates effectively with drivers, brokers, and vendors, and can quickly adapt to policy and process changes. Dispatchers at Nevoya are problem-solvers who ensure shipments move on time, compliance is maintained, and customers receive excellent service.\nShift:\nMonday - Friday (Night Shift): 8pm-4am\n\nThis role is hybrid in Perris, CA.\nWhat You'll Do:\nAssign and coordinate loads to drivers, ensuring on-time pickup and delivery\n\nCommunicate with drivers to manage schedules, provide route updates, and troubleshoot issues\n\nLiaise with brokers and vendors to ensure smooth shipment flow\n\nMaintain accurate and timely updates in our dispatch systems\n\nMonitor and ensure Hours of Service compliance for all assigned drivers\n\nManage EV charge planning to prevent delays in delivery schedules\n\nReprioritize workloads in real time based on emergent events, guided by established policies\n\nSupport other dispatchers with task delegation and provide operational guidance\n\nCoordinate with Senior Dispatchers on escalated issues or operational improvements\n\nTrack and report on KPIs including on-time rates, empty miles percentage, and compliance scores\n\nSuccess in this role will be measured against the following operational targets:\nOn-Time Pickup & Delivery Rate: 90% or higher\n\nLoad Assignment Turnaround: 30 minutes or less from load availability\n\nDriver Communication Response Time: 5 minutes or less\n\nHours of Service (HOS) Compliance: 98% or higher\n\nEmpty Miles Percentage: 15% or lower\n\nTMS Software Update Accuracy: 95% or higher\n\nEV Charge Management: 95% or more trips without charging delays\n\nQualifications:\n3+ years of logistics experience, preferably in a dispatch or customer service capacity\n\nIntermediate IT proficiency and comfort with logistics technology platforms\n\nWorking knowledge of freight industry standards and processes\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills in English\n\nProven ability to unjam operational issues and resolve problems independently in real time\n\nAdaptability to process and policy changes in a fast-moving environment\n\nCollege degree preferred\n\nPreferred:\nPrior EV fleet or sustainable transportation dispatch experience\n\nFamiliarity with dispatch/tracking platforms\n\nExperience coordinating across multiple time zones\n\nAt Nevoya, we believe diverse teams build better solutions.\nWe are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all employees.
