This role is responsible for timely, accurate processing of financial data in support of monthly financial reporting requirements for two legal entities. In addition, this role is a key contributor to audits and User Acceptance Testing activities.\nMAJOR ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:\nSupport on-time monthly financial closings for multiple legal entities\nSupport parent company inquiries and reporting requirements (banking, trial balance, tax, etc.)\nReconciliation of sub-ledgers and balance sheet accounts with timely remediation of open items\nOversee timely processing of accounting documents and journal entries\nKey contributor to one or more accounting activities (A/R, A/P, Sales/Use Tax, Purchase Orders, etc)\nCoordinate and execute trainings in support of F&A policies\nEnsure Job Aids are maintained and designated backups are properly trained\nLead and support audits and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)\nKEY COMPETENCIES:\nStrong understanding of GAAP and audit requirements\nAbility to work both independently and with others in a team environment\nProficient at time management and determining procedure cost-effectiveness\nStrong problem solving and analytical ability, with high level of accuracy and attention to detail\nCourteous and collaborative business partner with vendors, customers, and all levels of employees\nComfortable learning and applying systems, reporting, and workflow tools to improve accuracy, efficiency, and consistency of accounting processes\nContinuous improvement mindset with ability to identify practical opportunities to simplify recurring accounting work and strengthen documentation\nEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION and CREDENTIALS:\nAccounting Degree preferred\n3+ years accounting experience in Accounts Payables including multi-state sales & use tax filings\nERP system experience, Microsoft Business Central strongly preferred.\nIntermediate to advanced level skills with Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams); experience with Power Query, Power Automate, or similar workflow and reporting tools preferred\nExperience supporting process documentation, system testing, reporting improvements, or practical automation of recurring accounting activities preferred\nThe target pay range for this role is $28.00 - $30.00 per hour. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
