This role is 100% on-site, encouraging employees to collaborate and connect in person five days a week.\nApply to join New Era's team!\n\nThe temporary Associate, Talent Acquisition plays a crucial role within New Era's fast-paced and growing Human Resources department. This position is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Talent Acquisition team, helping to ensure a seamless experience for candidates, hiring managers, and employees. This role will deliver exceptional customer service while supporting day-to-day operations across recruitment and onboarding activities. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping others while building a strong foundation in Human Resources.This is a temporary role estimated to be a four-month assignment.\n\n Responsibilities\nAssist with recruitment processes, including but not limited to posting jobs, updating data in the applicant tracking system (ATS), scheduling virtual and in-person interviews, and communicating status updates with candidates \nPartner with the Talent Acquisition Team and hiring managers to deliver a positive and efficient candidate experience throughout the hiring process\nCoordinate logistics and administrative support for the Talent Acquisition Team\nAssist with onboarding activities, including coordinating IT requests, preparing new hire documentation, coordinating new hire announcements and gifts, and ensuring a smooth first-day experience \nProcess candidate reimbursements\nSupport the continuous improvement of recruiting, onboarding, and candidate experience processes \nKeep all sensitive matters confidential\nOther duties as assigned\nRespond to general inquiries and escalate issues as needed \nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nDemonstrates a high level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information\nStrong computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn and utilize new systems; experience in Canva and Asana is a plus\nKnowledge of full-cycle recruiting principles, sourcing techniques, and interviewing best practices preferred \nDemonstrated ability to establish rapport and build relationships with various levels within the organization \nExceptional ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities\nStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally \nEnthusiastic, proactive, and positive person who adapts to change and with urgency and persistence \nAbility to approach business challenges with creative problem-solving skills and sound judgement\nCommitment to demonstrating New Era’s Mission, Vision, and Brand Values\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred; relevant job experience in lieu of degree will be considered\nOne (1) to Three (3) years of professional experience required; experience in supporting full-cycle recruitment or talent acquisition preferred \nExperience using Applicant Tracking Systems, scheduling tools, and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter preferred\nExperience supporting high-volume recruiting environments is a plus\nTravel Requirement\nThe location for this position is 100% on-site in Buffalo, NY\n0% to 10%; domestic and/or global\nThe salary range for this posted position is $22.00 - $25.00 per hour pertains to candidates located in Western New York.
