HQ offers an inviting atmosphere, complete with an on-site café, fitness center, and Flagship store.\nApply to join New Era's team!\n\nThe role of the Sr. Coordinator, Logistics (Collaborations) is responsible for logistics and transportation activities supporting New Era and Brand Partner collaborations and initiatives. This role ensures seamless coordination among internal teams, manufacturing partners, international logistics providers, distribution facilities, brand partners, and retail customers to deliver products on time and in compliance with partner and customer requirements while supporting successful product launches and maintaining operational excellence.\nThe Logistics and Distribution department oversees four functional groups within New Era: Logistics, Distribution, Logistics Integration, and Trade Compliance. This team is responsible for managing all product movement from the time it leaves the factory until the time it is delivered to the end customer.\nResponsibilities \nCoordinate logistics activities for co-branded and licensed product launches in order to meet each customer’s requirements for on-time delivery and their requirements for communication of order status and exceptions reporting\nServe as the primary logistics point of contact for brand partners\nProactively provide order status updates and communicate frequently and timely with brand partners\nServe as the primary logistics resource for internal stakeholders to provide accurate and reliable status reporting and support exception resolution\nMonitor collaboration timelines to ensure key launch milestones are achieve\nProvide frequent status updates regarding production, transportation, inventory readiness, and customer deliveries to both internal and external partners\nIdentify and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions that could impact collaborative launches. Work through inbound scheduling, carrier issues, delivery appointments, etc. proactively communicate delays and recommend/trouble shoot alternate solutions\nTrack global inbound shipments to ensure timely delivery to final destination and make real-time decisions to prioritize adjustments to the shipment as needed\nArrange domestic and international transportation of products\nCoordinate carrier bookings, freight appointments, and delivery scheduling\nMaintain shipping documentation, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork\nEnsure compliance with import/export regulations and trade requirements\nVerify partner branding, labeling, packaging, and ticketing standards are met\nMonitor shipment movement and proactively communicate delays\nIdentify opportunities to improve logistics processes supporting collaborative business models\nResolve chargeback, compliance, and delivery-related issues with customers\nCollaborate with internal departments (Product Development, Sales, Sourcing, Planning, Customer Service, and Distribution teams) and external partners to support logistics processes; review orders, inbound & outbound transactions, resolve routing issues, proactively communicate delays and recommend/trouble shoot alternate solutions\nUpdate customer routings in SAP and accurately communicate to carriers and forwarders (based on customer specific requirements)\nProactively conduct route-cause analysis with all internal and third party logistics partners of service level exceptions for customer orders and propose improvements/solutions\nKeep all sensitive matters confidential \nOther duties as assigned \nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities \nStrong computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn and utilize new systems\nAbility to establish relationships and interact with various levels within the organization\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and efficiently prioritize workday to maximize productivity\nStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally\nEnthusiastic, pro-active, and positive person who adapts to change and with urgency and persistence\nThe ability to be innovative and creative when handling difficult business challenges\nWorking knowledge of SAP preferred\nStrong follow-up with attention to detail\nExcellent ability to communicate, follow-up, and engage with outside partners to ensure proper procedures\nExercise sound independent judgement and ability to keep calm under pressure\nKnowledge of shipping processes required\nMust be able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs\nEducation and Experience\nBachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field preferred; relevant job experience in lieu of degree will be considered\nTwo (2) to four (4) years of experience in logistics operations required; focus on customer service preferred\nDemonstrated advanced level Excel required \nTravel Requirement\nThe location for this position is 100% on-site in Buffalo, NY\n5% to 10%; domestic and/or global\nThe salary range for this posted position is $58,000 - $68,000 (plus bonus & benefits) and pertains to candidates located in Western New York.
