Apply today and help us shape the future of work-together\nEngagement: Contractor/C2C\nDuration: 6+ months\nWork Arrangement: Primarily Remote\nTravel: Occasional travel to Philadelphia, PA, as required\nJob Overview\nWe are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Developer & Partner Manager to take end-to-end ownership of the platform's development lifecycle, technical architecture, and project delivery.\nThis is a hybrid, hands-on role combining advanced D365 F&O development with technical project management and external implementation partner coordination. The ideal candidate must be capable of independently managing business requirements, designing technical solutions, developing customizations and integrations, overseeing deployments, and ensuring successful project delivery with minimal supervision.\nThe successful candidate will serve as both the technical lead and hands-on developer, bridging business stakeholders, implementation partners, and technical teams.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. End-to-End Project Ownership\nLead the complete project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, business process analysis, gap analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.\n\nTranslate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and implementation plans.\n\nManage project timelines, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.\n\nDrive issue resolution and ensure high-quality, timely delivery.\n\n2. D365 F&O Development and Architecture\nDevelop, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions using X++.\n\nDesign and implement extensions, custom business logic, data entities, and system enhancements.\n\nDevelop and maintain integrations using APIs, OData, REST, and other appropriate integration technologies.\n\nWork with D365 F&O application architecture, data models, and system components to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.\n\nPerform debugging, troubleshooting, code reviews, performance optimization, and technical issue resolution.\n\nSupport data migration, validation, testing, deployment, and production stabilization activities.\n\n3. Technical Project and Partner Management\nServe as the primary technical point of contact for implementation partners, business stakeholders, and internal teams.\n\nManage partner deliverables, technical dependencies, milestones, and quality expectations.\n\nEvaluate partner-proposed solutions and ensure alignment with D365 F&O architecture and business requirements.\n\nIndependently execute hands-on development while coordinating project-level activities.\n\nCommunicate technical risks, progress, and recommendations to stakeholders.\n\n4. Azure DevOps (ADO) Management\nManage Azure DevOps for development and release activities.\n\nOversee sprint planning, backlog grooming, work item tracking, and development prioritization.\n\nManage source control, code repositories, branching strategies, and version control.\n\nConfigure and maintain build and release pipelines, deployment tracking, and release management processes.\n\nCoordinate code promotion across development, testing, and production environments.\n\n5. Testing, Deployment, and Support\nDevelop and support unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing.\n\nCoordinate deployments and ensure release readiness.\n\nTroubleshoot production issues and provide post-go-live support.\n\nMaintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and solution design documents.\n\nFollow development standards, security requirements, and best practices for enterprise-grade solutions.\n\nMandatory Qualifications and Skills\nCandidates must demonstrate strong hands-on experience in the following areas:\nMicrosoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations: Deep technical expertise in D365 F&O development and customization.\n\nX++ Development: Strong hands-on coding experience with X++, including extensions, custom business logic, debugging, and troubleshooting.\n\nD365 F&O Architecture: Understanding of application architecture, data models, system components, and solution design.\n\nIntegrations and APIs: Experience developing and supporting integrations using REST APIs, OData, data entities, and related integration mechanisms.\n\nAzure DevOps (ADO): Practical experience managing repositories, branching strategies, sprint planning, backlogs, build/release pipelines, and deployments.\n\nEnd-to-End Delivery: Proven experience taking D365 F&O initiatives from requirements gathering and technical design through development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.\n\nProject and Partner Management: Experience coordinating implementation partners, managing deliverables, translating business needs into technical solutions, and driving technical decisions.\n\nIndependent Execution: Ability to operate autonomously, prioritize tasks, resolve complex technical issues, and deliver with minimal supervision.\n\nCommunication and Stakeholder Management: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience leading enterprise D365 F&O implementations or major enhancements.\n\nExperience with data migration, environment management, and production support.\n\nFamiliarity with Microsoft cloud technologies and the broader Dynamics 365 ecosystem.\n\nExperience managing external implementation vendors or systems integrators.\n\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.\n\nWork Arrangement\nPrimarily remote engagement.\n\nMust be available for occasional travel to Philadelphia, PA, as required.\n\nExpected engagement duration of 6+ months.\n\nMust be comfortable working independently and taking ownership of technical delivery from end to end.\n\nNew Era Technology, LLC., and its subsidiaries (“New Era” “we”, “us”, or “our”) in its operating regions worldwide are committed to respecting your privacy and recognize the need for appropriate protection and management of any Personal Data that you may provide us.
