Apply today and help us shape the future of work-together\nRole: Senior Network Engineer\nPosition Type: Permanent\nLocation: Hyderabad / Bangalore (Work from office)\nPRIMARY DUTIES include but not limited to: \nImplementation Triage & Technical Escalation\nServe as the lead escalation point for complex deployment issues during the Cisco-to-Fortinet/Juniper migration.\nTroubleshoot advanced problems involving Fortinet firewalls, Juniper switches, Juniper access points, and legacy Cisco devices during cutovers.\nSupport field technicians and implementation teams with real-time guidance, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.\nChange Control & Governance (ServiceNow)\nOwn the full lifecycle of network-related change controls within ServiceNow.\nCreate and review change requests with a focus on accuracy, risk mitigation, and compliance.\nMaintain high standards of operational discipline and audit readiness.\nNetwork Engineering & Migration Execution\nLead configuration, deployment, and optimization of:\nFortinet firewalls (policies, VPNs, SD-WAN, HA, segmentation).\nJuniper switches (EX/QFX series, VLANs, routing, security policies).\nJuniper access points and wireless controllers.\nOversee migration activities including device staging, configuration validation, cutover support, and post-deployment tuning.\nEnsure consistent application of templates, standards, and best practices across all branch refresh activities.\nDocumentation & Continuous Improvement\nMaintain detailed documentation of network designs, migration procedures, and configuration standards.\nIdentify recurring issues and drive long-term improvements to deployment processes and network architecture.\nContribute to playbooks, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing materials for engineering and field teams\nCOMPETENCIES:\nIndustry certifications such as Fortinet NSE, Juniper JNCIS/JNCIP, or equivalent.\nExperience with large-scale network refresh or transformation programs.\nFamiliarity with automation tools (Python, Ansible) for configuration and operational tasks.\nKnowledge of SD-WAN, Zero Trust, or cloud-integrated network architectures.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.\nStrong organizational skills with attention to detail.\nAbility to lead under pressure and make sound technical decisions.\nCollaborative mindset with a focus on mentoring and team development.\nREQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: \nExtensive hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer).\nStrong expertise with Juniper switches and Juniper wireless solutions.\nSolid understanding of Cisco networking to support migration and troubleshooting during the transition.\nProven experience managing change controls in ServiceNow.\nStrong troubleshooting skills across routing, switching, wireless, and security domains.\nAbility to lead technical triage in fast-paced, multi-site deployment environments.\nInterested candidates may share their updated resumes to:\n\nNew Era Technology, LLC., and its subsidiaries (“New Era” “we”, “us”, or “our”) in its operating regions worldwide are committed to respecting your privacy and recognize the need for appropriate protection and management of any Personal Data that you may provide us.
