Apply today and help us shape the future of work-together\nRole: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)\nLocation: Gurgaon (ONSITE) - 5 Days Work from Office (Arya Samaj Rd, Durga Colony, Sector 39, Gurugram, Haryana 122003)\n\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for a hands-on Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / DevOps Engineer with strong programming and automation skills.\n The role will initially involve development and automation work, helping the engineer build a strong understanding of the applications and platform. Over time, the role will expand into broader DevOps and SRE responsibilities, including CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, observability, production reliability, incident management, and operational automation.\n The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with both application code and production systems and should use engineering and automation to improve reliability and reduce manual effort.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and enhance internal applications, automation tools, APIs, utilities, and platform capabilities using Python.\nWrite clean, maintainable, testable, and production-ready code.\nParticipate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and technical discussions.\nBuild, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.\nWork with Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and operations.\nSupport on prem and cloud-based application and infrastructure deployments.\nMaintain reliable, scalable, secure, and highly available production environments.\nImplement and manage monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.\nContribute to defining and tracking SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.\nTroubleshoot application and production issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).\nIdentify recurring operational problems and address them through automation and engineering improvements.\nSupport incident response, change management, deployment governance, and disaster recovery practices.\nMaintain runbooks, SOPs, incident documentation, and technical documentation.\nCollaborate with Engineering, Product, Platform, Security, Operations, and external teams.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong hands-on experience with Python for development and automation.\nExperience developing scripts, APIs, integrations, utilities, or backend services.\nGood understanding of software engineering principles, debugging, logging, testing, and exception handling.\nExperience with REST APIs, JSON, Git, pull requests, and code reviews.\nStrong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and basic Windows administration.\nGood understanding of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, and firewalls.\nExperience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.\nHands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.\nExperience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.\nFamiliarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform is preferred.\nExperience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Power BI, or equivalent.\nAbility to analyze logs, metrics, alerts, and traces for troubleshooting.\nUnderstanding of SRE concepts including SLIs, SLOs, availability, reliability, error budgets, and RCA.\nExperience with JIRA, ServiceNow, and Confluence is desirable.\nPreferred Experience\n3-6 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.\nStrong Python development or automation experience.\nExperience supporting applications across development, deployment, and production environments.\nExposure to cloud-native, distributed, or production-grade systems.\nUnderstanding of security and compliance best practices.\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar tools.\nSoft Skills\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nEngineering and automation mindset.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nEffective cross-functional collaboration.\nOwnership-driven approach to problem solving.\nAbility to remain structured during production incidents.\nInterested?\nPlease share your updated resume with  /  / \nNew Era Technology, LLC., and its subsidiaries (“New Era” “we”, “us”, or “our”) in its operating regions worldwide are committed to respecting your privacy and recognize the need for appropriate protection and management of any Personal Data that you may provide us.
