Further information is available at www.newflyer.com.\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nReporting to the Master Scheduling Manager, this position will work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to build an optimal schedule for bus line entries to ensure that our New Flyer facilities have successful operations.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO:\nFacilitate Master Scheduling meetings with cross-functional teams. \nEnsure proper documentation and review of risks, issues, concerns, and changes and provide necessary feedback and resolutions. \nEvaluate the status of New Flyer facilities and the New Flyer Supply Chain\nUpdate business plan to maintain bus line entry status, completion status, shipment status, and performance status\nUpdating and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) in relation to the Annual Operating Plan\nPerform business plan simulations as required \nCreate simulations in various formats to present to ELT for consideration\nLead cross training initiatives within the Scheduling group\nWork with the Scheduling team to ensure that the process is on track and well communicated\nEnsures operational KPI’s and OPEX are established, and objectives are met. \nCreate and analyze reports on departmental objectives and issues. \nMonitor and promote the Health and Safety programs and takes an active role in developing a safer working environment. \nMaintaining operational budgets for each production department, including obtaining and reviewing budget results with budget owners monthly, identifying deviations and ensuring corrective actions are taken.\nCoordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure a continual follow of product to meet both internal and external requirements. \nRequirements\nWHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:\nPost-secondary education in a related discipline in operations management or equivalent experience will also be considered\nAt least 5 years’ previous experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment. \nExcellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills. \nHigh level of professionalism and confidentiality.\nHigh level of computer capabilities \nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, and knowledge of Oracle would be an asset. \nExperience with Lean manufacturing is considered an asset. \nBenefits\nOUR WHY: We exist to move people.
