This role provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while helping develop innovative, high-quality transportation solutions.\nUse CAD software (e.g., NX, SolidWorks) to develop and refine designs.\nAssist in creating and releasing engineering drawings and documentation.\nConduct engineering calculations and research to support design decisions.\nPrepare for and support testing activities, including data collection and analysis.\nCollaborate with the team to improve processes and drive innovation.\nWHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:\nCurrently enrolled in a recognized post-secondary Mechanical or Electrical Engineering program.\nStrong communication and organizational skills.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nBasic understanding of engineering principles, design processes, and problem-solving methodologies.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with engineering and design software such as Siemens NX (Unigraphics), AutoCAD, or similar CAD platforms is considered an asset.\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous learning.\nPrevious manufacturing, production, co-op, internship, laboratory, or engineering-related experience is considered an asset.\nStandard Work Schedule: Day Shift | Monday - Friday | 7:30AM - 4:00PM\nOUR WHY:\nAt NFI Group, our purpose is simple: We Move People.
