Ensuring they remain available in line with the agreed SLAs\nDevelop and implement cloud networking strategies for public, private and hybrid cloud environments. Configure and manage virtual networks, subnets and security groups on cloud platforms e.g. Microsoft Azure.\nImplement and manage network security measures, to include Checkpoint and Cisco Firewalls, Cloud Security, Site to Site VPNs and remote access solutions. Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud networking, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality and availability.\nProviding technical support and guidance to the IT support team. Resolving IT infrastructure-related incidents, service requests and problems in a timely and efficient manner in line with Business requirements. Liaising with 3rd Parties where appropriate.\nProvide timely communication to users on the status of their service requests and incidents.\nUndertaking IT infrastructure-related problem diagnosis, implementing problem resolution or prevention measures as appropriate. This is to include audit, monitoring, capacity management, planning, security, patching etc.\nThe Technical expert for all Network related activities, making recommendations on future operational enhancements or investments. Participating in capacity planning and network expansion projects to support the company’s strategic direction.\nDesign, deploy and maintain robust and scalable network architectures both on-premises and in the cloud.\nMaintaining IT infrastructure support technical documentation\nBe a part of the Networks team providing 24/7 on call and out of hours support to the business.\nEnsuring capacity, availability, security and service support requirements are considered in all IT infrastructure changes and that all changes meet the agreed service acceptance criteria.\nEnsuring Asset and Configuration Management principles, processes and procedures are applied.\nAssist in disaster recovery planning and execution in the event of network failures.\nWHO YOU ARE \nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent.\nProfessional certifications, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CCNP, CCSA, Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate or equivalent.\nProven experience as an IT Network Engineer or a similar role.\nExperience of Cloud networking and Security.\nIn-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, layer 2 switching and layer 3 routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP and BGP\nConfiguration and deployment of Cisco hardware (Catalyst and Nexus) in an enterprise setting\nConfiguration and deployment of Cisco ASA firewall appliances\nConfiguration and deployment of Checkpoint firewall appliances\nConfiguration, deployment and management of wireless devices and an understanding of wireless communications.\nProficiency in Network administration, monitoring and troubleshooting mainly using Cisco systems, including Cisco ISE and DNAC\nExperience of the Meraki SDWAN solution and dashboard\nExperience with network security best practices and technologies.\nConfiguration of F5 Loadbalancers (desirable) \nKnowledge of telephone systems, VoIP, PSTN\nITIL qualification (Desirable)\nWHATS IN IT FOR YOU:\n40% staff discount plus friends & family discounts throughout the year\nAccess to our reward platform for external discount and offers\nPrivate pension scheme\nOption to join our Healthcare Private Medical Scheme\nVirtual GP access for you and your children – it allows you to speak to a doctor at a time and date that suits you\nAll employees are covered by our life assurance policy from day one\nUnlock extra leave with our buy more holiday scheme.\nCelebrate YOU!
