Resolving IT infrastructure-related incidents, service requests & problems in a timely & efficient manner in line with Business requirements & liaising with 3rd Parties where appropriate.\nYou will also work with our Project Teams to deliver new Projects and be able to follow Change Process.\nWHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:\nOwn and support the day-to-day operation of the Microsoft 365 platform, ensuring availability, performance, and continuous improvement.\nMaintain and enhance hybrid infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments, including Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, Always On VPN, Citrix, SQL Server, Managed File Transfer, backup solutions, patching, and monitoring platforms.\nDrive automation and operational efficiency through scripting and tooling, primarily leveraging PowerShell and Microsoft Intune.\nAdminister core infrastructure services spanning physical and virtual environments, including compute, storage, and hypervisors (VMware and Hyper-V).\nSupport infrastructure lifecycle activities, including upgrades, patching, certificate management, and platform optimisation.\nProvide technical support for retail and distribution systems, including POS/till builds, patching, remote access solutions, and handheld devices.\nManage and support the end-user computing (EUC) estate via MECM and Intune, ensuring secure provisioning, policy compliance, and software deployment.\nLog, triage, and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs; perform root cause analysis; and implement preventative measures to improve service reliability.\n Support ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change management processes to restore service quickly, reduce repeat issues, and maintain operational stability.\nWork closely with cybersecurity and service desk teams to maintain secure, compliant, and resilient operations.\nProduce and maintain accurate technical documentation, contributing to team knowledge sharing and operational standards.\nParticipate in a 24/7 on-call rota to support business-critical services.\nWHO YOU ARE:\nRelevant certifications (or equivalent experience):\nMicrosoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate\nITIL Foundation\nMicrosoft Azure Fundamentals\nMicrosoft 365 Fundamentals\nStrong working knowledge of core enterprise technologies, including Microsoft Azure and Entra ID, Windows Server and desktop operating systems, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, and infrastructure management services\nExperience with enterprise storage and backup solutions (e.g., IBM, Cohesity) and associated data protection strategies.\nProven ability to manage and support both physical server infrastructure and virtualisation platforms, including Hyper-V and VMware.\nHands-on experience with Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions and secure file protocols (FTPS/SFTP), including configuration and automation of file transfer workflows.\nExperience with MECM (Config Manager) & Endpoint Manager (Intune)\nExperience with Active Directory Policy (Group Policy) Administration\nBasic Networking skills\nFamiliarity with monitoring, automation tools and Powershell.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities\nExperience with Enterprise Anti-Virus solutions\nWHATS IN IT FOR YOU:\n40% staff discount plus friends & family discounts throughout the year\nAccess to our reward platform for external discount and offers\nPrivate pension scheme\nProfit related bonus scheme\nOption to join our Healthcare Private Medical Scheme\nVirtual GP access for you and your children – it allows you to speak to a doctor at a time and date that suits you\nAll employees are covered by our life assurance policy from day one\nUnlock extra leave with our buy more holiday scheme.\nCelebrate YOU!
