School-Based Occupational Therapist
At New Story Schools, we serve students ages 5-21 with autism and emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Guided by individualized learning, therapeutic integration, and collaboration, we empower students to grow and prepare for meaningful adult lives. What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy and an active Pennsylvania license
Minimum two years of occupational therapy experience, including one year with children
Strong understanding of sensory integration and motor development
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
Commitment to meeting documentation and compliance deadlines
What You’ll Do
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized IEP goals to improve fine and sensory motor skills
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to assigned students
Track and report student progress through documentation and progress notes
Collaborate with school staff and families to promote carryover of therapy goals
Maintain therapy materials and ensure timely, compliant reporting
