# Software Engineer

About Newable The new demand on commercial real estate is to consume less energy. Regulation is tightening. Occupiers are demanding it. Asset values depend on it. Yet most players in the value chain, from energy suppliers to facility managers, are not structurally incentivized to help buildings get there. Newable was built to fix this. We are the energy provider that earns more when buildings consume less, by combining AI-driven control of building systems with a supply model that turns efficiency into a shared interest between us and our clients. We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team and build our platform. Mission As a Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Newable platform. You will design, develop, and deploy a product that must speak to many personas (building owners, operators, technicians etc.). Your work will directly contribute to our mission of making commercial real estate consuming less energy at scale. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the Founding Engineer and Lead Data Scientist to build the Newable platform, making architectural decisions that will shape the product for years to come.
