You are able to translate financial information into clear insights and communicate effectively with colleagues at various levels throughout the organization.\n\nIn addition, you have:\n\n A Bachelor's degree (HBO level) in Finance & Control, Business Economics, Accountancy, Business Administration, or a related field;\n\n Preferably several years of experience in a financial role; ambitious recent graduates are also encouraged to apply;\n\n A solid understanding of financial processes and reporting;\n\n Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of Infor, ISPnext, Prophix, or Coupa is considered an advantage;\n\n Excellent Excel skills; experience with Power BI is considered a plus;\n\n Knowledge of IFRS and/or Dutch GAAP is an advantage;\n\n Good command of both the Dutch and English languages;\n\n A proactive, independent, and results-oriented mindset.\n\nYour daily responsibilities include\n\n Managing, processing, reviewing, and analyzing financial data and administration;\n\n Preparing and supporting management reports, dashboards, budgets, forecasts, and cost calculations;\n\n Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities;\n\n Preparing VAT and ICP returns;\n\n Preparing balance sheet and profit & loss statements;\n\n Preparing audit files and supporting internal and external audits;\n\n Identifying deviations and translating analyses into concrete improvement actions;\n\n Optimizing and further automating financial reporting and administrative processes;\n\n Contributing to improvement projects related to internal controls, efficiency, and digitalization;\n\n Gaining insight into financial transactions within the ERP system and understanding their impact on the organization;\n\n Collaborating closely with colleagues within Finance and other departments.\n\n Assisting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities;\n\n Reviewing financial transactions for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness;\n\n Identifying and correcting discrepancies within the financial administration;\n\n Supporting balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger reviews;\n\n Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data models;\n\n Preparing periodic financial reports;\n\n Producing revenue, cost, and margin analyses and reports;\n\n Analyzing financial performance and variances against budgets and forecasts;\n\n Supporting management reporting activities;\n\n Identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency of financial processes;\n\n Supporting automation and digitalization initiatives;\n\n Contributing to the optimization of reporting processes and internal controls;\n\n Collecting and processing financial data for budgets and forecasts;\n\n Supporting the preparation of financial projections and forecasts;\n\n Monitoring budgets and identifying variances;\n\n Supporting internal and external audit processes;\n\n Ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping of financial information;\n\n Preparing and submitting VAT, ICP, and CBS (Statistics Netherlands) reports.\n\nSecurity requirements\n\nNeways serves customers in industries including defense, semiconductors, automotive and medical technology.
